The Himalayan peak of Ama Dablam, often known as the "Matterhorn of the Himalaya," is one of the world's most stunning landscapes. Ama Dablam is a distinctive mountain due to its distinctive pyramidal shape. Ama Dablam gets its name from the hanging glacier that can be seen on its southwest face, which looks like the sacred adornment box used by Sherpa women (also called Dablam). The elevation of this mountain is 6,812 meters above sea level. However, the visual value of this mountain much outweighs its relatively modest height.

Mount Ama Dablam can be found in the Khumbu region of Nepal, just to the south of Mount Everest. As you make your way to the peak, you'll likely be treated to some breathtaking vistas.

The Trekking Day

The day usually begins between 6.30 am and 7.30 am, with breakfast. During breakfast, the crew members make up the loads for the porters. You often start hiking by 7:30 am, though we wait for the sun to warm the air at higher altitudes.

The pace for the day is set at a lower speed. Instead, you will have time to become aware of everything around you and to enjoy it. Our guides are excellent timekeepers but cannot make you rush over the mountains!

The afternoon walk follows a similar pattern to the morning; it is often shorter, and your lodge is usually reached between 4 pm and 5 pm. There is plenty of time to relax or explore the surrounding area until the evening meal is served at about 6.30 pm. After dinner, there is time to chat, read or enjoy a game of cards with our crew. Most members are asleep by 9 pm.

We provide a highly experienced team of IFMGA/UIAGM guides, assistant guides if required, cook and kitchen staff, rope fixing team, high-altitude workers, and liaison officers. Our team is committed to ensuring your safety and satisfaction during your adventure.
