Mr. Tshiring Jangbu Sherpa, IFMGA Guide and President of ESE took the first step of learning ski in 2014. With advancement in the training levels and experience, Mr. Sherpa became a professional skier in 2017. Since then, he has undertaken multiple ski exploration expeditions in the Nepal Himalaya.

Mr. Sherpa is often credited as the pioneer of ski in Nepal. After he completed his ski trainings, the potentiality of winter sports in Nepal awestruck Mr. Sherpa and he started ski explorations in collaboration with Nepal Mountain Academy.

Mr. Sherpa till date has conducted multiple feasibility studies and pilot tests of ski in Himalayan mountains such as, Mera peak, Manaslu, Gosainkunda, Bhrikuti Shail peak, Sailung, Kalinchowk etc.

Mr. Sherpa is also the leading trainer of ski in Nepal. The courses of ski, all three levels involve him as the trainer. Ski level II is held every year in the Alps (France and Switzerland) where Mr. Sherpa takes enthusiast and fit skiers to further train them.
