Mr. Bhattarai has spent more than 20 years in mountain tourism. From 2006, he was working in the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Nepal Mountain Academy and was active in various adventure activities.

He has managed various expeditions in administration and planning.

In 2011, he completed the managerial responsibility in the first civil servant’s Everest expedition. He has also gained experience in the management of the 2019 Everest height measurement team. Bhattarai, who successfully climbed Mera Peak 6470 meters in 2022, has also gained climbing experience in Anonymous Peak in Upper Mustang and Chulu Far East in Manang. Bhattarai also has the experience of base camp trekking in all the mountains in Nepal.

Active in ski tourism since 2015, Bhattarai has skied in Manali, Switzerland and France. He is continuously active for the expansion of ski development in Nepal. An academic and learner himself, Bhattarai has published a travel book of his experience and multiple research papers. He has a professional insight into the Himalayan adventures based on his experienced as a Government official of over two decades.
